Summer School
As we approach the summer break, we are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for our Middle and High Schoolers. Hawthorne Public Schools is offering a Summer School Credit Recovery Support Opportunity. Students who enroll in Educere to recover credit for core academic courses are invited to Lincoln Middle School where they will have the opportunity to work and complete mandated assignments with the assistance of Hawthorne Public Schools staff members.
The schedule for the Summer School Credit Recovery Support program will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the following days:
Week 1: July 9, 10, 11
Week 2: July 16, 17, 18
Week 3: July 23, 24, 25
Week 4: July 30, 31, August 1
Week 5: August 6, 7, 8
Week 6: August 12, 13, 14, 15, 16
Please note:
Parent/Guardian is responsible for registering their students and paying for the course (maximum of two courses at a time)
Students must register for Educere by June 26th
All summer school courses and grades must be completed by August 16th
If a student fails the Educere Credit Recovery course during the summer, they must retake it during the 2024-2025 school year - their schedule will be adjusted accordingly
