Need to Talk?

In an effort to support our students and our families during the Holiday season, we have partnered with West Bergen to offer a Mental Health Warmline. If you feel like you need someone to talk to, this is a free and confidential service. You can call Monday-Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and get linked with a licensed therapist.

If you are in crisis or there is an emergency, please contact 911.

The mission of the Hawthorne Guidance Department is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, college/career, and personal/social development of all students. School Counselors are advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement. School counselors work in partnership with other educators, families, and the community to assist in preparing all students with the knowledge and skills needed to be productive, contributing members of society.
