Students created puppets for thier readers theater with casting material.  Each student has thier fingers casted and designed thier puppet on the paper.  After the cast was hardened the students used acrylic paint markers to paint thier puppet.

Our classroom was set up into several exhibits.  Students were able to come in and feel the real items, make observations with both thier eyes and digital microscopes. Then they recorded thier observations.  

Students learned the importance of having land that animals can use to cross over or under highways to keep them safe.  The students then used a model to design a bridge for an animal.

Students get strips of paper to create a paper 3 dimemsional sculpture.
