Faculty Meeting CI Demo

Goal: To familiarize the Radford High School and Waipahu High School faculties of Comprehensible Input (CI)/Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) through a Spanish-language demonstration during a school faculty meeting. To foster understanding and support for language learning.

Description: Inspired by PD given by Jeenna and others, I would like to give our faculty a little information about the history and research behind CI/CLT as well as a demonstration of some strategies so that they can better understand the direction we are trying to go as World Languages teachers. My hope is that faculty will enjoy the experience of language learning and leave with a sense of the value CLT could have for our students.
