As part of my Second Language Studies graduate program, I had the opportunity to take the SLS 690 Teaching Practicum at Ubon Ratchathani University in Thailand. For 6 weeks, I taught English for Effective Presentation to high school juniors who ranged from A2-B1 CEFR level. I designed and implemented lesson plans tailored to both their language proficiency and academic focus, incorporating real-world tasks and communicative strategies. The course culminated in a final project where students presented a poster on their research projects they were working on throughout their studies and received feedback from other practicum teachers.

"Always gives a lot of ideas when working on workshops and does a lot of planning and making the slides for the workshops. I feel like she does the most when we planned for Saturday workshop for the freshman and the UBU staff retreat."
