Project Goal:

To test out the cafeterias utensils to figure out if there are better alternatives. The goal is to reduce the amount of trash around Lanai High & Elementary School, which would be better for the earth and it help out the school janitors.

Key Milestones: 

• Research and understand how the current school lunch trays are harming the environment

• Research creative ways other schools are reducing waste

• Create an experiment to test the differences between the current school's lunch trays versus natural disposable materials

• Collect and analyze the date to showcase the differences in how the materials decompose
