Thank you for taking the time to review my CV! As you go through my qualifications, you will find a diverse and well-rounded range of experiences.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Second Language Studies and Philippine Language and Culture from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Through these programs, I have developed essential skills that prepare me for a meaningful and successful career.
Throughout my academic journey, I have actively engaged in opportunities that showcase my linguistic and instructional abilities. As part of my Second Language Studies coursework, I designed and implemented lesson plans focusing on language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and communicative strategies (interaction techniques, translanguaging, and task-based language teaching). My studies in Philippine Language and Culture deepened my understanding of Critical Pedagogy and Implementing Culture to daily lessons, demonstrating its relevance in both language learning and cultural education. The knowledge and experiences I have gained from both programs have played a key role in shaping the professional I am today.
