Māmaki Tea (March workshop) 

Harvest fresh māmaki leaves (a handful, 7-10)

Bring water to a rolling boil

Add Māmaki leaves to water, and remove from heat. Cover. 

Steep the Māmaki leaves for 15 minutes - overnight. 

Can be served hot or iced 

The longer you steep it, the thicker and deeper rich color it will become.

Our recipe featured roselle picked by UH Lab school students, with the addition of mint, lemon and a touch of honey for sweetness! 

The calyces of roselle flowers are rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants.
