Graduate Teaching Assistants
Graduate Teaching Assistants are graduate students who are employed by the NREM Department and awarded a stipend to teach or co-teach a course. This includes teaching, material prep, grading, tutoring, and communicating. They can be Doctoral, Masters of Science, or Masters of Environmental Management students and are typically NREM graduate students.

Undergraduate Learning Assistants
Undergraduate Learning Assistants are undergraduate students who are employed by the NREM Department and receive hourly pay to assist a course. All Learning Assistants complete a STEM pedagogy course (EDCS 417) that trains them how to peer-teach and tutor. Learning Assistants can be of any major.
