University of Hawaiʻi (UH) alumna, kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiian), and uchinanchu (local descendant of Okinawan immigrants). Born and raised on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi; I grew up in Maunalua (Hawaiʻi Kai). I am an interdisciplinary marine ecologist with a forte in Coastal Resources Management, outreach education, and science communication. My position in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) is an Instructor Faculty member (100% Instruction). My instruction focuses on experiential learning and I teach the NREM courses: 192; 203; 251; 492; and 665.
