Active learning environments focused on student growth

Whether it be face-to-face or synchronous online, students complete learning modules (video lectures and readings) and assessments (homework, quizzes, etc.) before lectures. During lectures, students have brief overviews and classroom activities that recap what is learned before class. Learning continues with assignments that test student application of course content.

I train all teaching team members, graduate and undergraduate students alike, to teach in their own right. Together, we are a teaching team committed to helping students in our classes. Students are encouraged to reach out to us at any time throughout the semester.

Utilizing class time for the success of the next generation

All students will become members of our workforce and workforce development is emphasized in my classes. Whether it be creating resumes, writing essays, or interacting with group members, students learn how to development a growth mindset and contemporary employment skills. This training provides opportunities for students to practice expectations proficiently, which adds to their professional prestige.
