We aim to engage clinical faculty about clinical skills curriculum for our students. We hope to develop our teaching faculty with high-yield refreshers about clinical skills. We will share effective resources, objectives and schedules.
Volunteer faculty are critical to JABSOM. Pre-clerkship clinical skills is embedded in the overall PBL curriculum. Keeping faculty aware of the curricula and scheduled didactics can enhance the effectiveness of clinical skills in our early learners.
Teaching is learning x 2 or 3 or 10! When we teach, we refresh and consolidate our knowledge and practice. Up to date information and resources will be shared with faculty to improve their teaching and the curriculum of clinical skills.
Highlight effective and concise resources for the busy clinical faculty.
Set and review overall goals and individual learning objectives for each unit of the clinical skills plan. Student and teacher expectations will be transparent and congruent.
