About the House System

Welcome to the Havil House System!

At Havil International School, our House System is the heart and soul of our character development programme. This dynamic, school-wide initiative cultivates four essential qualities in our students: FOCUS, COURAGE, WILLINGNESS, and GRIT. 

Throughout the year, students earn points for their houses by excelling in their daily learning and activities. Whether it's through leadership, teamwork, engaging in class discussions, asking insightful questions, caring for others, or going the extra mile in their coursework, students are constantly encouraged to give their best.

Inspired by the renowned House System at the Ron Clark Academy (RCA) in Atlanta, USA, our school's programme emphasises maximum engagement, fun and rigorous learning. Through this inclusive environment, our students achieve outstanding academic results, develop strong communication skills, and gain confidence in their abilities. We believe in recognising each student's unique value and potential, encouraging them to be themselves and strive for excellence in all they do.

At Havil, students are sorted into their destined houses and remain with their "tribe" throughout their school journey. Each house embodies a specific character trait, and together, they represent these qualities with pride.
