Geoff writes: "Arctic Squall was done for my first entry to the Historic Yellow Springs Art Show. The next year I did their poster. I had started painting again after some years spent songwriting and 'existing' in NYC.
The tiger I did years later after time spent teaching myself watercolor.
10 years ago I stopped painting because I got the opportunity to record songs I was writing. Two CD's later ( Minstrel and Turn It Up) I recorded more songs including 17 written for a musical film I've been writing that I started back in NYC. Bogged down with its ending and a number of set-backs I started doing sculptures when Covid hit. Twenty five of those done ( a great sanity endeavor for the isolation situation) a friend asked me to illustrate a children's book she's written. So, back to watercolor. We've just started this work. It's good to be able to stay active and I'm grateful to be in good health...so far..:)
I graduated in 1965 after two years in Berkshire Academy boarding school. I was told I could enter a previous Haverford School art show where I sold a painting then given as a retirement present for the former headmaster."
