Scratchboard/Literary/Young Writers and Artists Club

Advisor: Dawn Lynch

Meeting Dates: Wednesdays, Room 307

Scratchboard is a venue for young writers, photographers, and artists to express themselves artistically and creatively. Students meet in room 307 directly after school on Wednesdays and spend their time working either independently or collaboratively to create original writing or artwork.

The goal of the club is to produce work to be published in Scratchboard, the school’s literary and art magazine, though it is not mandatory for members to be published in order to maintain membership in the club. Scratchboard is an open club and welcomes new members at all meetings throughout the year. Additionally, all students, whether club members or not, are invited to submit work for review and possible publication. For more information, please see Ms. Lynch in room 307 or speak with your English teacher.
