MS/HS Reading Grades 6-12

Mission Statement: The mission of the Hauppauge Middle School/High School Reading Department is to provide the opportunity for our students to refine their skills as readers, writers and lifelong learners in an academically rigorous learning environment guided by the New York State Standards. Through differentiation of instruction and attending to individual learning styles, students are prepared to comprehend and analyze complex text and develop a love of literacy.
