Using a computer and the Adafruit Circuit Playground Express. I created a mini color changing light show. With the help of the  Adafruit Circuit Playground chip I was able to make a mini light show. Because one it was the assignment and I thought that it would be a cool experience to try out.

During this process, I learned how to make a mini light show. I have not hade the chance to do this before. It was a cool experience to have .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I identified and solved the problems with the coding.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what coding I would have to do to make a mini light show. I was able to do it by asking google and my class mates.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of colors that would change and the amount of segments I have. The reason why I would change it is because it would be a good experience to have and so that the people that are watching the mini light show can have a different experience to.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in STEAM education because if you know how to do the coding you can teach the later generation.
