In this class, we will be using the Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students (MITECS) also known as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards. For each standard, you will write a 3 to 5-sentence paragraph. Please use this link to create your paragraphs.
My personal understanding of an Empowered Learner. I think it is a personal showing or understanding of the ability to make a good website and to analyze the website. So that you can learn from the website and make yours better, along with helping your fellow citizens in need.
This is the understanding of using websites safely and using the website safely. You can suggest safe apps to your friends and family. And you can be a good person on the internet and on websites.
From my knowledge of knowledge construction is the ability to understand, use, and explore websites, web pages, and documents in an appropriate responsible way. You also need to, "critically accurate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others. Students.”
This is for the students to identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions for not only themselves but for their fellow pers and elders.
People like myself develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of technological methods to develop and test solutions with the people we sit next to and in your class.
People like me and you should follow class room expectations if you are in my class. Communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.
People in my class use digital tools to broaden their perspectives and enrich their learning by collaborating with others and working effectively in teams locally and globally.
