I used iMovie to create a film about my cardboard creation. I put a lot of effort into it and wanted to showcase my hard work. Making the movie was a fun way to share my project with others. I hope people enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it
During this process, I learned how to be an empowered learner. I took charge of my project, exploring different techniques and tools. This experience helped me develop my creativity and problem-solving skills. I felt more confident in my abilities as I worked on my movie!
The seven standards of our class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project connects to the Innovative Designer standard because I had to be creative and use tools I didn’t even know existed. This challenge pushed me to explore new ideas and find innovative solutions while working on my cardboard creation. It was exciting to learn and create something unique!
One challenge I faced on this project was that I couldn’t use some of the tools I wanted. To overcome this, I adapted by modifying certain parts to achieve different results. This experience taught me how to think creatively and find solutions when things don’t go as planned.
If I had the chance to do this project again, I would change the materials I used and create something I could take home with me. I would prefer to work with cardboard because it’s easier to transport. Being able to take my project home would let me show it to my family and friends, making it even more rewarding.

This experience allowed me to explore engineering concepts and develop skills that are essential for success in the field.
My project connects to careers in engineering because I had to build something from scratch. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply engineering principles and think critically about design and functionality. It helped me understand the importance of planning and problem-solving in engineering careers.
