This is my jingle reflection

Using the green screen, my group and i created a jingle video. We created this video to tell everyone on the Facebook page the Hastings Schools have a snow day!! This took my group two weeks to create we did have many ups and downs but I think that we put together something unique and funny. During this process, I learned many things like how to edit a video, and how to take a video on the green screen iPad. While editing i found that i struggled with putting in an audio luckily my teacher was willing to help me with this issue. I found that using the green screen was very fun to me because my group had great ideas on the type of background we should use.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker because I had to think of many different ideas and themes for the video. My project also tied to Global Collaborator because we had to find the right song and the right backgrounds to use.

A challenge I overcame on this project was editing the video because there were so many different types of things that I could use to create a good quality video. I was able to overcome this by asking my group what exactly the type of quality they wanted. Then I put together

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the singing tone and words. The reason why I would change it is because i think that with funnier words and better singing it would even make the video better. I do think that we accomplished the goal of our project.

This project connects to careers in the technology field and will help me in the future, like how to properly edit videos. This will look good on my resume. Overall i am happy with how my project turned out.
