my boat held 234 penny's
this boat was called the SS titanic
Using tin foil and the 3d printer, we created a tin foil boat and a 3d boat because we were seeing who could get the most penny's in a boat.
During this process, I learned how to make a boat design that we stay afloat under a lot of weight
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I had to communicate with my group and we all had to agree on something.
A challenge I overcame on this project was was getting a design that was unique but still functional I was able to do it by the help of my group and the time that we got.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how tall the walls were and make it more slanted The reason why I would change it is because water got in to fast which we didn't hold as many penny's as I thought.
This project connect to careers in weight design foe boats so the weight goes evenly in the boat. Or boat design
this is my 3d boat that held 250 Penneys
this boat was called the SS animal Crackers
