Using micro-bit coding, I created a rock-paper-scissors game and a name tag because since I was new to coding I wanted to start simple and easy.
During this process, I learned coding is very complicated and is hard to understand.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because when making the micro bits, we had to design them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to code and how to understand it. I was able to do it by getting partner help and googling how to do something.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what i created . The reason why I would change it is because I think since this made me understand coding a little better, I could do better.
