Daily Log
day1. play around with the coding
day2. learn to use the code the right way and experiment with it
day3. create a game
day4. fix game to work better
Using Code.org, I created a game because I thought it would be interesting.
During this process, I learned how to do simple coding.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learning because I chose what to do.
A challenge I overcame on this project was understanding different kinds of code. I was able to do it by learning in trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would try and make a new level. The reason why I would change it is because it adds more to the gaming experience.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the
Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game design.
