In this project, I am working with my partner, Shelby. We are collaborating to create something fun and educational, combining our ideas and skills to make the project unique.

For our project, we will need a Makey Makey kit and a computer. The Makey Makey will allow us to turn everyday objects into interactive components, which will be an important part of our creation. We'll also use the computer to program and control the project.

Our plan is to create a one-of-a-kind Makey Makey project. We want to design something original, using the tools at our disposal to make it engaging and unique. We’re excited to brainstorm and experiment with different ideas to see what works best.

What makes our project stand out is the originality behind it. We’re focusing on using our own ideas rather than copying from others, making sure our creation reflects our creativity and teamwork. We aim to come up with something that’s truly ours, adding our personal touch to the final result.

Using playdough, alligator clips, and my computer, I created a way to use the makey makey with things that are conductive because I wanted to use it for some fun things.
During this process, I learned that some things are conductive and other things aren't conductive.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because we used other peoples pre-made things and we worked with a partner on this project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the makey makey to pick up the inputs on the makey makey. I was able to do it by putting one hand on the makey makey as I touched the playdough which made it work everytime.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the playdough that I used because it was dry and crusty. The reason why I would change it is because its hard to shape and mold and is dry and crumbles apart.
