Using Cardboard, Duct Tape, Hot Glue, I created A basketball hoop because I always wanted to make something like that with cardboard but never had the time to.
During this process, I learned how to make your idea into reality with cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I created a design for a basketball hoop.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the cardboard stay in place while the glue dried. I was able to do it by making Easten hold it while I glued it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I didnt color it that much. The reason why I would change it is because it would giv it more detail.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Consturction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in building technicians because I built a basketball hoop.
