- Using iPads, I created a commercial because I wanted to talk about the design project I made. We talked about the project and its cost. We also explained why its a good product.
- During this process, I learned how to edit the commercial . I also learned how to put music into the commercial and credits. I learned to work better with classmates because I had to collaborate with others.
- The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because I had to communicate with classmates. I had to be creative and when making the commercial . I had to create the commercial.
- A challenge I overcame on this project was we had trouble filling up the 15-30 second for the video. I was able to do it by adding credits at the end to make it longer. We used a black background for the credits and said everyone's names.
- Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the hoop, so that the ball could go in easier. The reason why I would change it is because I couldn't find it possible to make the ball in the hoop after trying many times. I would also change the sling shot so it would be easier to shoot the balls. The reason I would change this is because it takes to long to put the ball on the sling shot.
- Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Marketing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to this because I had to market my project. My project connects to careers in sales and marketing because I had to create a project and market it as a commercial.
