8p3- Scratch

Using the amazing programing app called scratch, I created a soccer game through programing because i enjoy playing soccer and watching soccer and so does my friend so I will make him watch it and we can have a good laugh and talk about my programming skills.

During this process, I learned how to make programs and how to code stuff i also learned that there is a lot more work you would think goes into programming and designing and a lot of hard work is involved .

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner, Digital citizen, Innovative Designer and Global collaborator because did my first program project, I was safe on my scratch account, Figured out how to program and published it on the internet.

A challenge I overcame on this project was Learning how to program. I was able to do it by a mix of asking for help but also figuring it out on my own.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the detail in my project. The reason why I would change it is because I think I could do better next time.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.

My project connects to careers in Technology and programming because it involves technology and programming.
