I searched up Serena Williams and it came up as "Serena Williams American tennis player serenawilliams.com" and it shows her birth date, where she was born, weight, height, spouse, children, and then some quotes. The internet shows a lot of peoples personal information.
I visit sites for school so what I search up is tracked but I don't visit any other sites at home. Whatever I search up at school isn't bad so why should I have a problem with it.
The algorithms that are used by companies to influence me is: They look at your search history to see what you are interested in so you will be influenced by their company and they make sure you spend a bunch of time on their site, to kind of start to be interested in what they are showing.
I want people to know what hobbies I like to do and who my friends are, and I put a quote that I like. That is all they get to know about me. What I put online is 95% accurate.
