7p1 cardboard challenge

Using cardboard, I created a flowerpot because my partner and I thought it would be a good idea making something that could be a small purpose like the flowerpot we made it really beautiful and I honestly love it, it was a very good idea and i'm glad that is what my partner and I picked.

During this process, I learned that teamwork is important because we worked on it together we split the jobs we took turns and we got it done while having fun and that is what is mostly important.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because we decorated it with flowers and lights and it just looks so beautiful in person and my partner and I were very proud of ourselves and each-other.

A challenge I overcame on this project was when life gives you some bumps on the road communicate with a trusted friend or family member and figure it out. I was able to do it by my partners help and support and she helped me through the bumps in the road.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I just kept boiling up with new ideas and try not to extend the project more then it was needed. The reason why I would change it is because that was something that was a challenge to me.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Interior design, or decorative ideas.
