7P8- Makey Makey

Using a makey makey, ipad, a computer, aligator clips, and playdoh, I created a clicker because i wanted to get a higher score on cookie clicker.

During this process, I learnedhow to get the makey makey to work.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I am sharing everything I did during this process with anyone in the world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was making the thing actually work. I was able to do it by unclipping and rearanging things to see if it would help. I also looked around to see what other people where doing to get theirs to work.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how it was just quickly put together. The reason why I would change it is because i feel like i couldve added a lot more detail had i figured out how to do everything sooner.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in design engineer because it involves using different types of wires and things.
