Daily log:

Day one: got my websites and worked on my robot a little.

Day two: worked on my last project.

Day three: got our robots and iPad.

Day four: coded another robot to throw a tire.

Day five: coded a mini sphero and made it do shapes.

Day six: Mr. Renner was doing stuff on the smartboard.

Day seven: we coded the bolt to do movement, color bomb, and countdown.

Day eight: did the iRobot and programmed it as well as worked on my site.

Day nine: we videoed the Irobot and did our CTE.

Day ten: took time on our website.

Day eleven: i finished so i just looked over my project and had free time.

reflection:

Using bolt, I created a color bomb countdown. because it was one of my 4 challenges which was actually pretty easy to code. Using dash, I created dash to throw a tire because it was one of my 4 challenges and also very challenging to code it to throw it right. Using sphero mini, I created many different shapes because it was part of my 4 challenges and also very fun to program. Using iRobot , I created the robot to code the word "her" because it was part of my 4 challenges and also the lettering on each word was kind of difficult to do.

During this process, I learned if I don't know what to do, ask a fellow friend and they can help you. I also learned programming isnt that hard if you put in the work and the effort.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties toEmpowered Learner because me and Arika stayed focused and were on task. My project ties to empowerd learner because we stayed on task and focused on what we needed to do.

A challenge I overcame on this project wast was making the sphero mini follow directions and do many shapes. I was able to do it by asking a friend, staying strong, and not overthinking .

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many projects i do per day. The reason why I would change it is because I probably could've gotten 2 challenges done a day or at least one a day.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the to the Computer Programming program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in soft wear engineering and programmer analyst. CTE program at Hastings High School.
