7P1-Design Challenge

• Using cardboard, I created A pair of sandals because the type of sandals i made are my favorite type.

• During this process, I learned that even though its cardboard it takes a lot of thinking power to create anything.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designing because me and my group made something original.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was them not fitting my feet right. I was able to do it by testing on prototypes on cardboard and made it fit.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my partners and definitely work x100 harder on my design. The reason why I would change it is because most of my group helped me .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Design Thinking CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Footwear Designing.

Days

Day 1... We gathered all of our cardboard and materials that we needed.

Day 2... Today me and my group put together 1 of 8 shoes. We found out it doesn't fit we have to redo it on day 3.

Day 3... Me and my team put together 2 pairs and we remade my build into a perfect fit.

Day 4... We built the other and it doesn't fit

Day 5... The right slide didn't fit, now we Have to get a new strap. I used Coke cola

Day 6... Me and my friend made my shoe box look amazing with a plastic window and some string.

Day 7... We start video taking and either adding/making it better to our projects and making sure everything is done.
