What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a robot and an iPad.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan in this project is to do the tasks that Mr.Renners assigned to us, and experiment with the robots.
What unique qualities will your project have?
The unique qualities that my project will have is that I will have made my own program and made my own code for the robot.
Using robots, I created a list of things I could do with them like coding because for Mr.Renners innovation and design class we had to learn how to do a variety of different things with robots.
During this process, I learned how to code, move and program my own design.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to a computational thinker because i had to think outside of the box to learn how and to make my own program.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to use the robots or program them. I was able to do it by practicing and spending time getting to learn how to use the robots.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change spending so much time on how to learning these things though they were valuable uses of my time and effort I wish I could have done more. The reason why I would change it is because it took to much of my time and I almost ran out of time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer programing, robots and others.
This was day one, this was the day that I experimented the most and learned how to do the basics, like driving.
This was the day that took the most time and that I need the most help this was the day that I learned how to program my robot.
This was much easier than day two because I had the basic understanding of how to program.
This was the most creative day and one of the weirdest because I had to connect to a completely different robot.
