I am going to use CoSpaces to create a VR world. My world is going to be on the moon. I'm going to add a bunch of strange creatures. I'm doing this because I think it will be fun.
List of 25 things you could do with this tool:
For My VR world, I made dinosaurs dancing on the moon. I also added a giant bat and some giant penguins. I also have a dancing dragon. I created some astronauts who seem a little confused at first, but end up dancing with the dinosaurs, dragon, bat, and penguins.
While doing this project, I learned how to use COSPACES. Since we had little instruction, I also learned some problem solving skills. I learned how to figure tings out on my own.
This project is tied to a few of the MITECS standards. I believe that that these are : Empowered learner, knowledge constructor, Innovative Designer, and Computational Thinker. I think this project may also be tied to the Creative Communicator standard.
I figured out how to use the tool to make a world. I didn't have this class last year, and I was pretty lost. I had no idea how to use COSPACES and create a VR world. I watched tutorials and experimented, and eventually figured out what to do.
If I could do something different, I thing I would have added more and made it a bit more interesting. Since this was the first time I've ever done anything like this before, I didn't really know what I was doing, and didn't have time to figure out how to do anything more difficult and interesting. I may have tried to build something, and done something a little less ridiculous than dinosaurs dancing on the moon. I think if I'd had more time and experience, I would have been able to make my project a little better.
The things I learned in this project might be help me to become a programmer in animation. I also gained some Problem solving skills from this project. I learned how to figure things out on my own a little better. These skills will be useful in any future career because there won't always be someone there to show me exactly how to do things.
