7p2 micro bit

Using a Micro bit, computer and a bit of help , I created my name, heart beating, a dice and so much more because I wanted to try this micro bit stuff out for fun and more.

During this process, I learned that you won't get everything right the first time and to go back and look at what you messed up and try again. I also learned to take your time because you could make a lot of mistakes because you rushing.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because when I would make mistakes I would go back ad find what I did wrong and when i had trouble with a lot of stuff i would ask my friends for help.

A challenge I overcame on this project was I have a couple, Finding out how to make my name, how to make a dice because I couldn't find the things i would need, and to make this smile face that when you shake it it turns sad. What was hard about that was it was hard to make the smiley face in the same spot when I was making it.. I was able to do it by keep trying and asked for help when I needed help..

Given a chance to do this again, I would change making my name again or making harder things that would take a bit longer. . The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could have done better on my name and now that I get how to do this better than I first started .

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in making games.
