7p1 - video project

Using _iMovie and an iPad, I created _a movie about cars_ because I love cars. Also, I did it because I thought it was a good idea. but people started to copy.

During this process, I learned __how to use iMovie and learned how to use it. I also learned how to download and use Creative Commons images in a video.           

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to  innovative design._ because _I was able to do it by _staying with the class and helping people when they needed it. When I caught up when I needed it, I found new stuff and showed people stuff._.

A challenge I overcame on this project was _the timing of the clips and what sound effects to put in. Also, I overcame of what pictures I should put in. I overcame this by making something that I like.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change _the theme of my iMovie. I would change it because __I feel like there are a lot of people that did cars. Also, I would change it because the pictures are pixelated. Finally, I would change it because It was a little too easy and I would like to do something more complex.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the __Digital multimedia____________ CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in directing because you have to make and direct the video. Also, you have to put in the sound effects and the music. But you have to put the pictures and fix the timing of the clips.
