On day one I planned most of the hour but towards the end I started the project and this is how much I got done.

I was absent this day.

On Day 3 I finished putting the popsicle sticks on the cardboard and started to color the spots. This is what my project looks like on day 3.

On Day 4 I continued to color in the spaces on the board. It is a way longer process than I thought. This is my project at the end of Day 4.

On Day 5 I finished coloring the spaces and started working on my website.

Using carboard, I created a checkerboard because it sounded fun.
During this process, I learned how to use popsicle sticks in a unique way.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I designed and made a checkerboard by myself.
A challenge I overcame on this project was knot knowing what I was going to do for this project. I was able to do it by thinking about it last minute.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change making peices. The reason why I would change it is because I dont have any pieces to play with.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Egineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game board makers.
