Using hot wheels and hotwheels track, I created a big track with loops and lots of speed because i wanted to know hot to build a complictated track.

During this process, I learned the amount of speed you need for a double loop without the car derailing.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to inovative designer because i constructed the track to be complicated and have just enough power for the track to work.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to have loops because the cars were going to slow. I was able to do it by having good partners to work with to help me.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the teack. The reason why I would change it is because i feel like we could of had more track to make it longer and more complicated.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in inventing because i made a complicated track from a few track pieces and hotwheels.
