• Using the 3d printer, I created a new keycap for an old keyboard because i wanted to fix the keycap.

• During this process, I learned to measure thinmgs with the measuring too and to use tinkercad.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to enginering design because i used a tool tro make something from a measurment of something else.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was using tinkercad. I was able to do it by getting help form my classmates.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the measurments. The reason why I would change it is because it failed to work on the keyboard.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in engineers because I had to have measurments, put them in a website, and print thyem onto a 3d printer.
