IMG_0028.MOVUsing micro bits , I created my name and happy and sad faces because I thought it would be cool to make it go from happy to said or sad to happy.
During this process, I learned to code a micro bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital citizen because I used the internet to help me code my micro bit .
A challenge I overcame on this project was making sure i put the batteries in right and getting my daily log done everyday . I was able to do it by Working harder and trying tell i did it right .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the things I had made. I would have liked to have a more fascinating project, however due to the time given and that this was my first time coding, I choose to make something a bit more simple rather than complex.
I would probably to more things to my micro bit have more codes. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to do more codes but I couldn't figure it out.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in software developer.
