Reflection

Using CoSpaces, I created a VR world. I did this because I wanted to experience virtual reality. I do not have VR equipment at home, so I thought that it would be cool to try at school.

During this process, I learned how to use CoSpaces for VR world purposes. I made a VR world about a farm with dragons. I also used their bulit in code to make animals interact with each other.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to think like a computer to program the world. My project also ties to Global Collaborator because my website can be seen by the entire world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was being gone and having to catch up. I was able to do it by asking the people around me what the instructions were and managing my time.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the animals interact with each other. The reason why I would change it is because they were simple commands .

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in VR design.
