Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a Computer, an iPad, iMovie, and a 3D Printer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a sign to keep people away.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will have a convenient turn system when i am not working on anything.
Using Tinkercad and a 3D Printer, I created a warning sign because I wanted to create an easy and organized way to get rid of any annoying people that could be a distraction. During this process, I learned how to 3D model in Tinkercad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used the idea of a sign and reinvented it by making them into a tool to help a person concentrate on work.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coming up with what I was going to make. I was able to do it by thinking about it for a bit until I thought of the object I created, which was the stay out sign.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that the some of the letters were taller than other. The reason why I would change it is because someone may not know what it says on it from a ascertain angle.
