Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working with cassie, Berenice, Lindsay
What materials will you need for your project?
cardboard, tape, marbles, sizers, green construction paper, paper clips, pencils, shallow tray, paint, popsicle sticks
What is your plan to create in this project?
mini golf
What unique qualities will your project have?
it will be extra mini, mini-golf
Using cardboard, I created mini-mini golf because my team and I thought it would be cool and fun.
During this process, I learned making something is harder than it seems.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because we took the meaterials we had and made a mini golf corse.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to lift it up off the ground. I was able to do it by using boxes for supports underneath it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the hight. The reason why I would change it is because you have to bend down a lot or sit on the floor to play.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in many ways of design.
