Using tinker cad, and a 3D printer, I created a phone stand/holder because it solved my problem of dropping my phone while watching TV.
During this process, I learned that size matters because I was expecting my phone stand to be bigger.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I was creative and thought outside the box for my shape.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making engravings. I was able to do it by listing and asking for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the engravings from my name to just my initials. The reason why I would change it is because the holes of the letters fell out and my initials have no holes in caps, KT.
