Thursday- i started to work on tinkercad

friday- i made the torso of him

monday- i got half way done with the hands

tuesday- i realized the head probably wasn't going to work well when printing

wednesday- i fixed the head and finished the arms

thursday- i separated the parts so it can print and so i can put it all together with hot glue when its printed

friday- we went raking leaves

monday- i got the printed parts but it all didn't print right

• Using tinkercad, I tried to create a knaby lame mechanism because i thought it would be cool to print something that actualy worked like its supposed to.

• During this process, I learned that i should just print simple things.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because i chose to try and print something that was hard to do.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was whether or not it would fit together. I was able to do it by taking it apart in tinkercad and resizing it to fit in the spots it should go.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what i printed. The reason why I would change it is because it in the end just made a bunch of random things becasue it all got messed up.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in design because you might need to print out something like a model to design something bigger.
