daily log

day 1: i got into my group of 3 ,and learned the basics of robots

day 2: started working on the small robot

day 3: got the small robot done

day 4: i wasn't here but my partners started on the bigger ball one

day 5: me and my partners were trying to figure out how to do the actual robot one

day 6: we got the actual robot one done and made a video about it

day 7: we got two robots done but forgot to record them

What unique qualities will your project have?

Nothing really

• Using robots, I created a sling shot and a square because I was told to.

• During this process, I learned that using robots isn't as easy as you would think it would be.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used three different apps to do my robots and make them do what i wanted them to do.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to use the app that i did the robots on. You had to use the iPad to control the robot which was not the easiest thing to do. I was able to do it by asking people to show me how to do it and learning everyday more and more how to do it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I learned. I would have looked it up learned how to actually work my robot. The reason why I would change it is because I would want my robot to be more advanced than what they are now.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to theCTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in.
