Using MicroBits , I created my name with a heart because I love hearts and my name is the first thing anybody realizes about me.
During this process, I learned that coding is easier than I thought but harder than it looks .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed my own micro bit without help and re did it to make it better and better each time.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding in general. I learned how to make my name and how to make the micro bit turn on. I was able to do it by asking friends and asking the teacher.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I do it and make it better. The reason why I would change it is because it would look better and work better.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in programmer.
