Class Standards

1. Empowered Learner

                An Empowered Learner is taking initiative in choosing, achieving, and demonstrating abilities in their learning goals. Some examples of this is, being able to make your own learning goals, make strategies  going around technology to achieve them, and to think about your learning process. Another is to use technology to receive some feedback that tells you how to improve your learning in a variety of ways.

2. Digital Citizen

                A Digital Citizen is when people (objectively students) understand the rights, and responsibilities. Some examples of this is, managing their digital identity, and to understand their actions in the digital world. Another is managing their personal identity, managing their personal data, and demonstrating their understanding and respect for the rights of others.

3. Knowledge Constructor

              A Knowledge Constructor is able to use a variety of digital resources to understand more knowledge. Some examples of this is, being able to use resources for their intelligent pursuits. Another is being able to understand and acknowledge real-world problems/issues in the world. 

4. Innovative Designer

              An Innovative Designer is where people (Again, objectively students) use a variety of different tactics within a design group. Some examples of this are, being able to test theories, and creating innovative artifacts. Another is being able to work on open-ended problems.

5. Computational Thinker

              A Computational Thinker is able to problem solve with technology. Some examples of this is, formative development with the usage of technology, and being able to connect data. Another is being able to break problems into component parts.

6. Creative Communicator

              A Creative Communicator is being able to express themselves freely and creatively. Some examples of this is being able to choose the appropriate platforms on different devices. Another is being able to communicate complex ideas clearly.

7. Global Collaborator

              A Global Collaborator is being able to enrich their learning by collaborating with different people through technology. Some examples of this is, using digital tools to connect and learn a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. Another is exploring different global issues in the world.
