7P8 - " Stop-Motion "

Reflection
     I. Using iMotion, iPad, and my computer,  I created a video of a trees life because we wanted to show the stages of it.       We also thought it would be fun to make. I thought it would be fun to create a bunny and snake to interact with the tree.

II. During this process, I learned how to understand and use stop-motion on iMotion. Plus, I also learned how interact and split the sections on iMovie. Me and my partner also learned how to communicate our ideas and to merge them to make the project better and longer.

III. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because when my hand was in one of the shots, we decided to delete that photo and retake it. Another time we problem solved was when we finished the project and had to put it in iMovie to fix the scenes.

IIII. A challenge I overcame on this project was getting enough pictures so it reached 3 minutes. I was able to it by created different things/events that went along with the tree. We also were able to overcome it by making the animals/objects move slightly slower so it took up more pictures.

IV. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project using a bigger idea. The reason I would change it is because the original idea we had only took up 100-250 pictures. Another reason is because we thought that due to it being so small, the new ideas we came up with made the 3-min video more boring.

IIV. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Graphics and Animation Designer, Animation Instructor, and Motion Designer.
