2. look at more ideas and see if they will work and take pictures of the items I make.

4. I change my idea a few times and end on a multi task trash can.

Reflection

• Using a computer and a 3D printer, I created a pencil or trash holder for a desk because that was the idea that I thought would be a nice multi object.

• During this process, I learned how to make something with a 3D printer.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator because all of these connect to computers and designing.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was never using a 3D printer. I was able to do it by getting help and ideas from others.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the little amount of detail in the trash can. The reason why I would change it is because the only part that ties it to looking like a trash can.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D designers.
